Man of Sorrows - Thena Beam
Man of Sorrows - Official Music Video - Winner of the ICVM Award for Best Music Video & the ICFF Award for Best Music Video! : : Original song from artist Thena Beam : : Video from Emmy-award winning Director/Producer Alejandro Guimoye : : I wrote this song years ago in Italy, after seeing a painting of Jesus on the cross. The sorrow on His face was so powerful, I couldn't forget it. I woke in the night and wrote down the words to this song. Years later, it has come full circle in the form of this music video. The hand of God was in this project from the start, and the selfless generosity of everyone involved is a testament to that. I pray the beautiful, tragic story of Benjamin and Eliana will touch your heart, and draw you closer to Jesus, the Man of Sorrows.❤️

Man Of Sorrows - written by Thena Beam ©
Man of sorrows bruised and battered
My heart scattered at your feet
Deeply wounded by the hatred
The disappointment of one like me
Oʼ my savior, come and comfort
Save my heart from being torn
And write the pages of my story
As you only know the way it goes
In my sorrow, I remembered
How you were broken and all alone
Now I see you, clear as daybreak
And your smile takes me home
Oʼ my savior, come and comfort
Save my heart from being torn
And write the pages of my story
As you only know the way it goes
Man of Sorrows, man of sunlight
Shining down your kingdom come
And my home now is where you take me
After all is said and done
Oʼ my savior, come and comfort
Save my heart from being torn
And write the pages of my story
As you only know the way it goes
Man of sorrows
Shining down your kingdom come
